Another one of our awesome employees was honored at this year’s IAVM Conference…Jasmine Shannon, Event Coordinator, earned recognition in IAVM’s 30 Under 30 Class of 2019.
Out of over 150 applicants, Jasmine’s enthusiasm for event management and team work, along with her significant contributions to venue safety has landed her a place in IAVM’s 2019 Class of 30 Under 30.
The International Association of Venue Mangers (IAVM) is an organization of professionals in the venue industry ranging from Administration, Operations, Box-office, to Catering in a variety of venues. The association provides resources, contacts, education courses, and daily updates on innovating ideas, which play a tremendous part in how venues run today. IAVM created a program called 30 Under 30, that recognizes rising young professionals under the age of 30, while paying special attention to developing their rise in the business.
All applicants were to submit a 2-minute video answering the same 4 questions, for a panel of industry professionals to review. If you would like to see Jasmine’s application video, please click here.
Jasmine was awarded with full registration to VenueConnect, IAVM's Annual Conference & Trade Show in Chicago, IL, a stipend to assist travel and stay, and invitations to a reception where they were all recognized.
We are so proud of Jasmine and her accomplishment at such a young age, and we are so glad to have her here at Berry Center.
